Equipment

  • Large zip-top bag
  • Large oven-safe skillet
  • Tongs
  • Meat Thermometer
  • Sharp Knife

Ingredients

Pork Tenderloin Marinade

  • 2 pieces pork tenderloin about 1 pound each
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large zip-top bag, combine the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, smoked paprika, cumin, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Add the pork tenderloins to the bag, seal, and massage the marinade into the meat. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade, shaking off any excess, and sear on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet with the pork to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice the pork tenderloin and drizzle with the pan juices. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

For the best results, marinate the pork overnight to ensure maximum flavor absorption. If using a grill instead of an oven, maintain medium heat to prevent the pork from drying out. Always let the pork rest after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute.
