Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup lightly steamed kale, cooled and packed
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add coconut water and kale to the blender and blend for 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Add mango, banana, and yogurt. Blend again until creamy.
  • Add ginger, turmeric, black pepper, chia seeds, and lime juice. Blend on high until fully incorporated.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup if needed. Blend briefly to combine.
  • Pour into serving glasses and enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.

Notes

To reduce bitterness and improve nutrient absorption, lightly steam the kale for 60 seconds and cool it before blending. For a vegan option, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup. Adjust thickness with more coconut water or a handful of ice cubes.
