Instructions
Soak the chia seeds in almond milk for 5 minutes to form a gel-like consistency.
In a high-speed blender, combine the soaked chia seeds, almond milk, chopped apple, spinach, frozen banana, pineapple, grated ginger, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup, if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
For a creamier texture, add more frozen banana or reduce the liquid slightly. To increase protein content, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
